We built it to be a focused, infrared heat source—one that gives off that gorgeous glow while putting warmth exactly where you want it. Here’s the heart of it: a high-output halogen lamp. It’s all about delivering localized, radiant heat in a package that’s as beautiful as it is functional.
How it works, without the tech-speak
This thing runs on high voltage—either 230V or 400V—and cranks out between 2000 and 2500 watts. That power packed into a compact tube means serious heat density. And the tube itself? Just 300mm long. So it slips into tight spots without crowding everything around it.
The materials that make it happen
We wrapped the lamp in a quartz envelope and used a halogen cycle. Why? To keep the filament steady, even when things get scorching hot. The internal gas fill lets the filament run hotter, which shifts the light toward infrared and gives you that signature warm, bright glow. And the R7s connector? It’s a direct-wire, double-ended base. Makes mounting straightforward, handles the heat expansion of the quartz tube without loosening up, and you don’t have to fuss with polarity.
Where it shines—and what to keep in mind
When you need decorative heating, you want warmth where people are, without a bulky convection unit taking up space. This gives you directional radiant heat in a slim form that fits neatly into existing fixtures. Just a heads-up: the output is intense.
