We built these towel rail heaters for one reason: to pack a lot of heat into a small space. The standard unit runs at 400V and 2500W. That’s how we get that rapid warmth you need, without taking up a ton of room. The 300mm tube length is a sweet spot. What’s Inside: Quartz, Halogen, and a Simple Connection
At the heart of it is a quartz tube, filled with halogen. The halogen keeps the filament steady, even when things get seriously hot. That means the light stays strong and consistent over time. The quartz itself is tough. It handles sudden temperature changes and sends shortwave infrared energy right where it needs to go. So the heat jumps straight into the rail surface. Then there’s the R7s connector. It’s a two-pin setup that makes wiring a breeze. It clicks in place, holds tight, and cuts down on vibration. When it’s time for a replacement, it’s straightforward. No fuss.
Where It Shines: Fast Heat, When You Need It
On the production line, these heaters are the go-to for quick, focused heat. They pre-heat parts or keep a rail warm without turning your whole workspace into a sauna. That shortwave heat goes exactly where you point it, so you get a fast response. And because the design is compact and uses the standard R7s connection, you can swap one in quickly. Less downtime. Just keep in mind, with that much wattage, you need solid thermal management and properly rated controls. It keeps everything running cool and safe, even when the heater is working hard.
